Antigua Standard Poodles, aka "Team Priddy", is a small but well-known Texas family team of hobby breeders, groomers, and handlers. Dogs bred under the Antigua prefix are destined to be very desirable family dogs and to also be able to compete with the best purebred dogs in the American AKC showring. Illustrating many layers of expertise, from generations of work on genetic goals of perfecting health and structure with soundness, intelligence, and correct temperament, to handling, training, and grooming, we never stop reaching for higher goals. You may see our Standard Poodles at local shows nationwide, or at the Invitationals... Eukanuba Tournament of Champions, and also the prestigious Westminster Dog Show. You may also bump into one of our dogs or puppies in non-show settings like your local neighborhoods, as we have many wonderful companion dogs in family households nationwide. We focus on breeding the "complete" Standard Poodle, being true to type and character, plus one that has wonderful personality and is easy to live with. All puppies are sold on contracts with health and replacement guarantees. Lifetime support is available to our puppy buyers and we encourage our puppy buyers to stay in contact with us throughout the life of the dog. We want our puppies to meet your expectations as a new family member and likewise, we want to be the best breeder and mentor for our extended "family" as possible. Health Screening: Yes
I use the following Health Screening procedures: I do OFA and/or Penn Hip for Hips, CERF Eyes, skin punch biopy for SA, DNA test from Vetgen for vWD, and bloodtest for Thyroid, Kidney, and Liver funtion yearly, and do bloodwork to rule out Addison Disease. I believe health testing should be used as a tool to further a breeding program, but that research should also be used to understand what lines should and should not be combined.

Breeder of High Quality Working Poodles. Specializing in Silvers and Blues with the occasional White and Black tossed in for good measure. We only produce 1-2 litters a year and breed with specific goals of producing dogs with good retrieving instinct and a willingness to work. We show our dogs primarily in Obedience and Agility, but we do some Conformation to keep from becoming blind to our dogs faults. Finding a nice mix between 'willing to work' and 'calm and sweet to live with' is our goal. Health and Temperament is our top priority. All our dogs are AKC reg, some litters duel reg with UKC for serious working prospects. Our dogs are our housepets first and foremost. They are never kenneled. Visit our website for more information.

We are a small family kennel committed to breeding and raising beautiful and intelligent top-quality AKC standard poodles for the show ring and the loving pet home. Our breeding program emphasizes health, temperament and conformation. Our dogs are AKC champions from top-producing champion bloodlines. They have all tested clear/normal for hips, eyes, thyroid and skin, and received CHIC certification.
Our dogs are family members and live with us in our home in rural South Texas. Puppies are reared and socialized in the house. We occasionally have crate-trained, house-broken older puppies for sale.

I have been breeding top quality Miniature and Standard show puppies since 1996. I have strived to produce nice puppies with excellent temperaments. I have imported some of the top pedigrees in the countries to my line. All of our dogs are tested before they are bred. Most of my show puppies are sold on co ownership to make sure they are finished. If at anytime a puppy is sold and doesn't turn out we will replace it with a puppy. The puppies are never raised in a kennel only in our home and of course I own a grooming shop so they are very socialized from birth. I have placed several champions into agility homes after completing their titles so they have the best of both worlds. I feel all dogs should be treated as pets ALWAYS!!!!
