Having owned, and loved, Standard Poodles in excess of 35 years, Beaucaniche was established with the intention of breeding well socialized, healthy, loving Standard Poodles.

Our Poodles are beloved members of our family. Puppies are born and raised in our home. Our puppies are exposed to various sounds, noises, people and other pets early in their developmental weeks. All developmental milestones are documented. The puppies are part of our family, until they become a part of yours.

All of our breeding stock is health tested and come from a line of champion, health tested parentage. We provide proof of our testing.

Puppies come with a written guarantee. They are vet-checked, vaccinated (applicable to age), micro chipped and registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.

Breeding quality poodles has been a passion and hobby for 12 years. I strive to breed 1 or 2 litters per year after much research to combine the right sire and dam to produce, health, temperament and above all a happy puppy for you.

I have been a Standard Poodle Breeder for many years, and some breeders have started out with my dogs. I breed blacks, creams, whites, silvers, and blues. I have bred many show ring champions, and some obedience title holders. I guarantee my puppies for life against proven inherited defects and illnesses.

At Kimelle standard poodles we believe poodles should be able to do what they were originally bred to do, be an all around dog with health and temperament that will allow them to retrieve game, compete in an agility field, look stunning in the conformation ring or just be a constant soul mate.

Parents are titled and completely health tested, puppies are handraised in the house and socialized at early age. All puppies are temperament tested and veterinarian checked before leaving our house.

We are located just outside of Vancouver, B.C., in the beautiful city of Port Moody. We are not a kennel, our puppies are raised in our home, our adults sleep in our beds and are a part of our everyday life.

We test for vwd, hips, cerf, thyroid and S.A., and all results can be verified on the OFA.

Our poodles are members of our family and are NOT raised in a kennel atmosphere. They are treated and respected as our loving companions. We only breed occasionally as we are not a kennel. We started out with a miniature poodle 32 years ago and our first standard poodle 16 years ago and the rest is history.

We strive to breed for soundness and health first and foremost. Puppies are socialized right from day one. They are exposed to as many different situations as possible, they are also crate trained and potty training has begun.

Our puppies are a part of our family until they join your family as loving companions for life. We strive to find the best possible forever homes for our puppies, and that is why we have puppies longer then eight weeks in our home. Our puppies come with a written health guarantee against any genetic health issues. Puppies are Canadian Kennel Club registered, come with micro chips, and vaccinations according to DR. Jean Dodds protocol, and vet - checked.

Standard Kennel does limited breeding with emphasis on producing all-round healthy Poodles. Our Standard Poodles have proven themselves with Championships, Titles, Certificates and Recognition in Conformation, Agility, Obedience, Herding, Hunt, Therapy, public performance and game events. They have been used for television ads, movies, print advertising, children's entertainment, school education programs and therapy work with seniors.

I have been involved in the dog world since the age of ten, first as a breeder of Norwegian Elkhounds and since 2000 as a breeder of Standard Poodles. For me, dog breeding is both an art and a science. One must have the artistic eye to envision the ideal specimen and the scientific know-how to try and actualize this goal. I endeavour to breed intelligent dogs, who are sound in mind and sound in body. Temperament and movement are of utmost importance to me. My Poodles come with a five year health and temperament guarantee. All puppies who leave my home are well-socialized, paper- trained, micro-chipped, vaccinated and LOVED. I try to match puppy with buyer and offer a life time of help and support.

I have a small very selective breeding program outside of Vancouver, B.C. Canada with limited litters ranging from one litter a year or one litter in three years. I breed for health, temperament and structure with all three being the same level of importance to me. A bonus to this is seeing the colours of silvers, blues, whites & creams.

I show my own dogs mostly from the Bred By Exhibitor Class for Conformation with Championship Titles in the U.S.A., Canada, (as well as International Champions) have dappled in agility, obedience and sheep herding with some being Certified St. Johns Therapy Dogs, CKC OTCHX, AKC CD and the first silver Standard to be a (Multi) BIS winner in Australia.

My pups are raised in my home where they interact in our daily lives with my husband, myself, children, one cat and a noisy bird that loves to boss the dogs around. Puppies are microchipped/tattooed, vaccinated, dewormed and examined by a certified Veterinarian. They are all introduced to crates at a very young age to know it as nothing else but a positive part of their lives for eating, sleeping and playing in for their own safety & privacy. They are leash walked and played with rides in crates in my van with all positive reinforcement.

A lot of thought & loving work goes into these little beings for finding the right match for a forever home. All puppies will be sold on Canadian Kennel Club Non-Breeding Registry for companionship, performance or show prospects. Must be willing to sign a contract with regards to spaying/neutering or prospective show puppy contract. One must protect their lines to prevent the improper breeding of these incredible loving dogs.

Our 4 legged "kids" are Champions from Champions, they are whelped and raised in our home (no kennel) and sleep on our bed at night. We consider health, temperament, beauty and brains to be of utmost importance.

Keeping the "kids" busy is a full time job, we start with early neurological stimulation and much socializing. We show in the conformation ring and then we do agility. We have dabbled in tracking and herding. We have been involved with kids programs, 4H and some therapy work.
